5 mm quartz glass NMR tube with UV transparency, ideal for UV light studies and 11B-NMR spectroscopy.
Quartz glass has a significantly lower thermal expansion compared to borosilicate, providing much higher thermal stability. Additionally, quartz has UV transparency of over 85% above 265 nm. This makes it the preferred NMR tube for photochemical studies in NMR spectroscopy. The boron content of natural quartz is below 0.1 ppm, which makes the tubes ideal for measuring 11B spectra.
